USCIS Announces Completion of Data Entry for Fiscal Year 2019 H-1B Cap-Subject Petitions

On May 15, 2018, USCIS announced that it had completed data entry for all fiscal year 2019 H-1B cap-subject nonimmigrant visa petitions selected at random in a computer-generated process known as the “H-1B lottery.”  According to the announcement, H-1B petitions that were not selected in the H-1B lottery will be returned, though USCIS would not specify a timeframe for when the unselected petitions would be returned due to the high number of petitions received.  The USCIS announcement is here.
